The idea of a Winston Fletcher Prize came about when a number of Winston’s friends and former colleagues decided that his extraordinary life deserved a lasting legacy.

Amongst his many other achievements, Winston was a prolific and eclectic writer of both non-fiction and fiction – he published more than 15 books and over 3,000 articles.

So it was decided that an annual fiction competition would be both appropriate and something of which he would have approved.

Entry to the competition is open to anyone who works in advertising, marketing, or related businesses.
